The Multicultural Resource Center Mission The Multicultural Resource Center facilitates access, for teachers, to the necessary tools to infuse learning experiences with: diverse viewpoints and perspectives, the inclusion of culture through academic rigor into any content area, exposure to the arts, and interdisciplinary connections. The MRC provides support for EMID member district schools requesting to work with the MRC. This innovative library has a collection that includes: artifacts, books, clothing, instruments, masks, music c.d.'s, posters, publications, and more to provide students exposure and understanding of the cultural identities and heritage that shape their world. |
