Identity, May 19, 2010 Arrangements can be made to substitute one of the
films for one of the classes in the event that one of the workshops is missed. Each
student will be required to submit a journal entry after each session
reflecting on the workshop and how it impacts their teaching (how they might
use it in their classroom or how it has given them new insight in to their
students or the curriculum).
Journal entries should be e-mailed within one week of the session to jennifer.eisele@spps.org . The criteria for evaluating
the journal entry will be as follows: A Each
of the nine journal entries submitted meets all of the following criteria: Reflects on the workshop and how it impacts their
teaching (how they might use it in their classroom or how it has given them new
insight in to their students or the curriculum) and the writing is clear, well
organized, and free of grammatical and spelling errors, submitted on time. B Eight
journal entries submitted. C Seven

Credit: Registration at Hamline is a 2-part process:
registering as a student, followed by signing up for your course. Begin by going to www.hamline.edu/registration
and scroll down to Graduate Level Continuing Education. Click on Professional
Development for Educators and follow the directions for becoming a new or a
continuing student. Once you are registered as a Hamline student, enter
the Piperline system (www.hamline.edu/piperline) to register for your class: ·
Choose Student
Services, then Registration, then
Register/Add/Drop Classes; ·
Select a term (make
sure to choose Summer 2009) and click Submit; ·
On the Add Classes
Worksheet, enter the 5-digit crn listed above and click Submit Registration
(only the 5-digit crn and no other part of the course number may be entered
into this box—please type this number carefully!); ·
On the Registration
Start Date Confirmation, you will need to enter a Start Date in the mm/dd/yyyy
format. If you register before the
first day of the class (preferred), enter the actual start date for the
class. If you register after the
first day of the class, you must enter the date on which you are
registering. You will not be able
to register online after the end date of the class and will then need to use a
paper registration form. Leave the
End Date blank and click Submit Registration. From www.hamline.edu/piperline, with the ID and PIN generated during the
registration process, you can now log in to Piperline's secure area at any time
and see which courses you are registered for, access grades, and see your past
