| Community Trunk Community Trunk Overview:
Geared towards elementary aged students, Investigating Community is a learning trunk that is designed to integrate literacy, arts, and hands on learning to encourage students to ask questions, observe and make connections. The concept behind this trunk is based on the Community Faces and Places trunk created by Saint Paul Public Schools. Hence, some of the lessons and activities are taken from that curriculum. The curriculum was modified to not be limited to the location of Saint Paul and to broaden the definition of community to reflect a more multicultural understanding. Materials in Trunk:
