Games and simulations designed to encourage thinking and discussion of topics of equity, diversity and inclusion available for checkout from the MRC.

Barnga:  A card game focusing on cultural norms and differences. (gr. 4-12)

Broken Circles:  Short activity in which small groups need to work toghether to solve a geometric probelm.  From Designing Groupwork by Elizabeth Cohen. (gr. 3-12)

Our Town:  Simulation activity in in which inequitable distribution of resources is addressed as well as privilege. (gr. 5-12)

Race Card:  Card game in which players discuss/expreience the roles that race play in different people's lives. (gr. 7-12)

Sunshine:  A simulation of current racial problems on a typical american city by Interact. (gr.7-12)

Teaching About Global Awareness with Simulations and Games by the Center for Teaching International Relations, University of Denver:  Contains varous simulations (gr. 6-12)

The Trail of Tears:  An Inquiry Simulation by GSP

Star Power:  Simualtion activity that fucuses on inequitable distribution of resources.  (gr. 4-12)
